A quirk of mine:
I just really get irritated by people who think it’s okay to be rude for no apparent reason at all. Even if they’re not being rude to me personally, it’ll still bother me that some girls just have the audacity to be mean to people just because they feel like it.
Today, I was talking to a friend and some girl who neither one of us knew came up to us and said to my friend “those girls over there think you’re ugly” and smirked. Obviously my friend didn’t care because they weren’t the type of person to care whether people said those things, but it really bothered me for a reason I don’t really know why.
I’m not sure whether the girl thought it was funny to go up someone and say such a rude thing, or whether her friends dared her, or even if she thought she was better than another human being but either way I found that very irritating. Everyone has rights to their opinion, but I find it so annoying that some people use that as an excuse to be really rude to someone.
I didn’t say anything at the moment because I wasn’t sure if it was my place to say something in the first place, but I really wish I would have asked the girl “who are you?” and “who or what gave you the permission to come up to someone you have no clue of and be so rude to them”.
I was bewildered that someone we didn’t know, had the nerve to just say rude things like “you’re ugly” to someone who isn’t ugly, and has a beautiful heart. Oh, and the girl who said that wasn’t the prettiest girl around lemme tell ya that!
Do me a favor guys, please be kinder to people, especially people you don’t know. Consider their feelings too. I personally would never go up to someone I don’t know and make a comment about their physical characteristics, not knowing anything about who they are on the inside. Thank you to those who are really willing to give a helping hand and are cordial of others.
